Hi, Jan,
While you are out there galavantin’ around the country, I stayed safe at home and had my knitting group over for a lovely June evening. We laughed loud and long, but I don’t think the neighbors reported us.

Of note, Karen’s tremendous progress on her Sideways Spencer Redux…

and Eryka’s self designed shawl in moss stitch with crochet edging. You are correct, that is not Eryka modeling. It is Peggy, and we were a bit worried blood would flow as she certainly showed no signs of willingness to return it.

I made a little progress on Rhythm and Blues. It is very entertaining to watch what these colors do next to each other.
Safe travels to you,
Love,
Ellen

It sounds like a fabulous evening! And I had to laugh, because the title of the post I just wrote is very similar. This Monday must have been special somehow

It was great seeing everyone again! Thanks Ellen for the help with the directions on my Spencer. Of course Karen is eclipsing us all with her results. I think Peggy looks lovely in my shawl and I cant wait to see what your shell looks like next time!

Okay, okay, I owe a post big time…well, with airport time and hotel time, I’ve got knitting! So I’ll get something up this weekend…promise!
I’m looking forward to living on the economy again…then I can have knit group over too.
I love Sideways Spencer — yet won’t consider anything sideways. Something in my deep consciousness about horizontal lines making you look wider. I may lose another 20 or 40 pounds and I’ll probably still feel that way.
