Last year Peggy had her 7th grade class do the Pirate Talk thing. About halfway through the class had sort of dropped it and they were hard into their grammar. Peggy asked one boy to name a certain part of speech. He thought hard about it, brightened up and said, “Sub-arrrrrrrr-dinate clause!” This year TLaP Day sort of got by me. Glad you had it covered!

Branden is very gratified that someone else remembered “Talk like a pirate day.” He brought it up in the (German) knitting group, and no one got it. =)
