Dear Ellen,
Hard to believe my Minnesota knitting extravaganza is already feeling like a dream. But I know I was there. I have this picture of you sitting next to me during one of Lucy Neatby’s classes.

.
And I have all this swag and yarn market loot on the guest room bed.
.
.
Swag.

Yarny goodness close up.

So much to knit and so little time. Thank goodness I’m not also obsessed by spinning.
Love, Jan
Jan and Ellen are identical twins who have always had an innate fashion sense. Crafting is an integral part of their lives and they stay stitched together sharing their love of knitting, family and community.

Mmmmmm swag! I think I got a little lightheaded.

If you two ever decide to become triplets, will you please adopt me as a sister?

I can’t bear to hide my swag away. It is strewn across the floor of the sitting room. Luckily W has a chess tournament this weekend which is distracting him completely. (and that new wheel is distracting me completely. Must. Go. Spin.)

Jan is the sane twin, apparently. Ellen is now lost to serious knitting for at least a year or three, until she perfects her spinning skills to more knittable proportions than rustic hats and scarves.
Meanwhile, I’m still knitting down my 15-year-old stash before I release the spinning wheels up from the dungeon. Yes, wheels, as in plural. After all, one must have a traveling wheel, as well as a serious production wheel…
Be careful, Ellen, whoooo ooooo oooo….. LOL!

Ooh! You did very well
Isn’t it amazing how much can come home with one after a weekend like that?

Yet.

Laughing at both Jenny and Alison’s comments.
Especially Alison’s.

Some of your “swag” and “loot” from Yarnover look JUST LIKE MINE! I know we were running around each other in the marketplace! I shopped with Kimmetkroft a bit (or a lot) . . . she has such lovely yarns!

You can resist, but you’ll join the spinners someday!

I second Allison…all I can say is “yet.” We’ll get you eventually. =)
