Dear Jan,
![]()
Home again, and despite Wilson’s dream that the kitties grew to be huge and ugly while we were gone, we found them to be every bit as adorable and even more loving than when we left. (As I watch them tearing around in the living room while I write this, I’m thinking more destructive, too, but I guess we knew what we were getting into so shouldn’t complain.)
Vacation had everything I could want.

The wedding of the woman, who, as a baby, was so adorable she convinced Wilson and I that we needed one of those, too.
Some knitting, too, but maybe that will wait for another post.
Love to you,
Ellen

Ellen, you totally need to get your kitties a big cardboard box. Our two kittens are having a blast playing in, on, and around a 3-cube box with packing paper that originally held a (very expensive) motorcycle jacket for Justin!

Oh, that’s wonderful!
And now I need to go look up the old friends from grad school days who had two kids after our oldest wrapped herself around their knee caps and wouldn’t let go. That made up their minds. Thank you for the happy reminder!

Those are some pretty scary teeth in those cute little mouths! Glad vacation was fun. =)

teehee…yes, I know we should know and hence should not complain? But in my defense, I haven’t had a kitten around for more than 30 years, so I forgot.
(that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!)
Looks like you had a wonderful vacay!
((((hugs))))

I can’t think of a better combination of treasures! People you love, great food and kitties.
I’ve been a bit spotty in cyberspace lately, but I’m hoping for a return to normalcy soon. Surely I’m not the only one whose knitting has suffered thanks to the delights of summer! (At least I hope not.)

Good thing that whole “child” idea turned out pretty good for you there. Bride and groom home from Honeymoon and enjoying their new niece and nephew…reinforcing ideas they already have!
Hope you make it back to New England soon; thanks so much for coming to the wedding.
