Dear Jan,
I find it hard to believe that I am really finished knitting the forest of leaves that edge my Hemmie.
Or that it will actually block flat.
Or that I wasn’t under gunpoint when I chose these colors.
Or that we spoil our cats this ridiculously. Wilson is standing under the lamp so the kitties can swat the light cord.
Disbelievingly yours,
Ellen

Their brother got up into the dropped ceiling in the basement last night and I had to rescue him. Today he knows how to get up there and back down by himself. So smart and funny!

You know as people age their ability to discern colors begins to go. Just sayin’ — though in my case it’s the hearing. We’ll make a fine pair!
This is one of the reasons we love Wilson.

Some things are just hard to accept.
I like all the Hemmie colors on their own. They are a little abrupt in solids next to one another like that, but it could work well once the lace is more obvious (though, honestly, they don’t bother me as-is). At very least, it is cheerful, warm, and finished!

There is so much there to work with ;). I love the light picture - the very imagine of doting cat ownership. And I actually like those colors, call me crazy…
