Hi, Jan,
Life has been busy. When I finally stopped to look up the MN state fair entry date, I discovered the deadline was the previous day. I guess that simplifies things, doesn’t it?
I’ll spend the time I’d normally spend dropping off and picking up entries by continuing to ply the singles I mentioned a couple of posts ago. There’s still time to enter the contest - I’m barely halfway done. If you haven’t guessed how many yards I’ll end up with, please comment on the contest post now.
Cheers,
Ellen

And I’ll not be getting anything into our fair either. Get this — it’s being held on a Wed, Thurs, Fri…no weekend days! Sheesh.
Ah well, as you say…simplifies.

Well crum. I’m sorry!
And Jan–no weekend days? What were they thinking?

There’s always next year! I can’t wait to go to the fair and look at other’s submissions. You’ll just have a bumper-crop of entries for 2012 without Sock Summit craziness to get in your way.

Darn! Too bad the fair date has passed, but you’re right that simplicity is sometimes not a bad thing. With all those bobbins, I’m sure the plying took some time!
